Why book it

Why Semi-Permanent Makeup Removal

Faster than waiting for it to fade

Semi-permanent pigment rarely goes quietly — it shifts grey, blue or orange first, and it can sit in the skin for a decade. Laser breaks it up so the body can clear it.

Fading for a rework is quicker and cheaper

Most people don't want bare skin, they want their artist to have something workable. Two to four sessions is often enough to lighten old pigment and correct a shape, at a fraction of the cost of taking it all off.

We don't treat eyeliner — and we'll tell you why

Eyeliner sits too close to the eye to be lasered safely, so we don't do it at any price. Brows and lip blush we do treat, and we'd rather turn work away than take a risk with somebody's eyesight.

Priced before you commit

Brows are £70 a session and lip blush £90, with the consultation and patch test free. You'll know the likely number of sessions before you book the first one.

How it works

How It Works

Three steps from your first message to your semi-permanent makeup removal appointment.

  1. 1

    Free consultation & patch test

We look at the colour, how deep it was implanted and how it has aged — all of which change how it comes out. Then we patch test a small area, because SPMU pigment can behave differently to tattoo ink.

  2. 2

    Your first session

Brows take about ten minutes. You'll see immediate frosting and some swelling that settles within a day or two, and we send you home with aftercare and a scab-free plan.

  3. 3

Return every six to eight weeks

Your body clears the broken-down pigment between sessions, so the gaps matter as much as the treatment. Most brows need three to eight sessions to clear, fewer if you're fading for a rework.

Questions, Answered

How many sessions will it take?

Three to eight for full removal, and often only two to four if you're lightening ready for new work. It depends on the pigment used, how deep it went and how many times the area has been worked on — saturated, repeatedly topped-up brows take the longest.

Can you remove eyeliner?

No. It sits too close to the eye for laser to be safe, and no protective lens changes that for us. We treat brows and lip blush only, and we'd rather say no than be the clinic that tried.

Can the colour change before it clears?

It can. Some SPMU pigments contain iron oxide or titanium dioxide, which can oxidise darker or turn orange when they're first treated. It's a known reaction, it isn't permanent, and it's exactly what the patch test is there to check for before we touch your whole brow.

Will it damage my own brow hair?

Some hair in the treated area may shed, and it usually grows back over the following weeks. We work around the natural brow line wherever possible and talk it through at the consultation, so nothing about it is a surprise.

Does it hurt?

It's sharp but quick — most people find it comparable to having the brows tattooed in the first place, and it's over in minutes rather than hours.

How much does it cost?

£70 a session for brows and £90 for lip blush, with the consultation and patch test free. New clients booking in September get 50% off their first session.
